half way!

this past Saturday was 20 weeks for me and bump #2

we are blessed!

visitors :) :) :)

it doesn't happen very often

but every now and then 

somebody makes it all the way up to little ol' Red Lake to give us a visit

this past week my sister Autumn and my mom made the trek

let's just say, Brighton was in high heaven!

the days finally got a bit warmer so we were able to spend a bit of time outside

two of the days they were up here, Mom and Autumn helped me make around 400 whoopie pies for a fundraiser bake sale

Brighton got in on a bit of the action too :)

it was special to have my mom up here to spend Mother's Day w/ me

this was my 2nd Mother's Day as a mother :)

for Mother's Day, Brighton ran up to Tim Hortons to get me a cinnamon french toast bagel for a yummy breakfast in bed

of course she wanted in on the goodness and ate about half of it!

it wasn't a very warm day

but we acted like it was and took a few Mother's Day pictures :)

 Mom and Autumn, thank you so much for coming up to see us!

it was such a blessing to have you :)

just over a week ago i got to photograph this little bundle of joy

pics have been a bit in coming because my mom and sister were up here visiting!!!

i'll post pictures about that soon :)

but for now, enjoy this precious little girl!

baby bum cake

i just about bit off more than i could chew the other day!

i agreed to make a cake for a baby shower

so naturally i went on to pinterest to find something that suited my fancy

let's just say...it was an all day project!

i can now see why some cakes are so expensive

all that being said, i was pretty happy w/ the finished product

definitely not as good as the original, but not bad either :)

Danielle, you brought a beautiful little girl into this world!

i feel incredibly blessed to have you in my life 

and i love that our kids get to grow up together...at least for a little while :)
